Maliz' Top 10 "They Are The Future" (Producer Edition)

I did a solo MC & a group one. This is the producers edition. All these producers deserve i know I might be forgetting some or just exclude some but its top 10 so it's hard. Do note that producera like Kno, Double-O, Foolery, Sinopsis & etc...didn't make it since they are apart of groups or haven't established a solo career. Enjoy.

10. Kev Brown

Hot off a collabrative album with LMNO. Kev Brown is one of the indie top soul producers. Kev is one of the most sought after producers. Recently he had problems with his appeal to the media hopefully he got that straighten out. He has produced for Kenn Starr and is apart of the Low Budget Crew. He also raps like most producers nowadays. So check him out.

Beats And Rhymes

9. Illmind
Ill has produced for many hip hop acts like Lloyd Banks, Little Brother, Strange Fruit Project and many more. Also signed to G-Unit Records as a producer Ill has made major moves for himself. Producing a collabrative album with S1 from SFP named Art Of One Mind. Illmind can do just about any type of production from hard hitting to smooth to samples.

Sirens

8. Oh No
The younger brother of production genius Madlib. Oh No is one of the better producer/rapper combo has he excels in both. He is a very well connected in the indie world as he is mentioned and seen alot. Oh No obviously gets he inspiration from his older brother. But he tries to keep his music to sound different then his brother. Oh No is constantly working I wouldn't be surprised to see some project with his name attached.

Action

7. Black Milk
Black Milk is becoming very popular after his album Popular Demand which seems to be his breakthrough album. Black has produced for many from Guilty Simpson to Elzhi to Kidz In The Hall to Strange Fruit Project. He is currently working on his next album, a EP with One Be Lo and album with Guilty Simpson & Sean Price. Can't wait for one of these project to show up.

Shut It Down

6. Khrysis
Khrysis on the boards! Probably the LB's second producer. He came to fame along side of LB and 9th. Khrysis is another very sought after producer as he has produced for many hip hop acts. Hailing from NC he carries the classic NC sound so many found to love. Along with 9th, Khrysis has popularize the NC style.

Something To See

5. Blue Sky Black Death
Dark, weird & banging. BSBD have been at this thing we call producing for a while but really caught eyes with their collab album with Hell Razah on Razah's Ladder. Highly accepted & receive great reviews. With that said this year they dropped a instrumental album called Late Night Cinema which is also another success so you can see they are widely accepted.

Stairway To Heaven

4. Danny!
He keep more gats then a Papoose verse. Danny! was nominated for a Grammy at a very young age and for a hip hop album. Both are great accomplishments. Danny! career has been fulled with controversy now I think he is reaping the fruit of his labors. With a highly acclaimed album, And I Love HER coming out soon. Danny! turning heads with featurings from Von Pea, Che Grand & Nalegde.

Where You Goin'

3. Exile
Famous for his collabration with Blu. Exile has been at it for a while. Known on the west coast but overlooked by the rest of the world till he & his boy Blu dropped Below The Heavens. Exile production as been widely accepted as is fusion of soul, old school west & samples. Beautiful music he makes. Also since hear BTH many have checked out his solo album called Dirty Science. And before he was with Blu he collabed with Aloe Blacc.

The World Is

2. Marco Polo
The Canadian producer dropped a bomb on the industry last year with Port Authority. Featuring Wordsworth, Masta Ace, Buckshot & more. Marco showed his diversity on that album. Also soon he is releasing a album Torae.

Nostaligia

1. Nicolay
From Foreign Exchange, with Phonte this Dutch producer has a great repetition. His latest project is with Kay Of The Foundation from Houston. With his spacey yet soulful production Nicolay is one of the top hip hop producers in the world.
