Transcontinental

Oxnard, CA underground emcee Roc C and Brooklyn (by way of Orlando)-based producer IMAKEMADBEATS aka NeMo have teamed together to form The Transcontinental and bring hip hop heads everywhere their collaborative self titled debut LP, The Transcontinental (Koch Entertainment). "Still Here," the first single from the forthcoming album, offers heads a sneak peek at the sounds of a duo set to shake up the scene with a sound that combines the soulful beats and hard-hitting lyricism.

Since making his mic debut on Oh No's single "Move Pt. 2" (produced by J. Dilla), Roc C has made a name for himself with his Stones Throw debut All Questions Answered and a slew of other projects. IMAKEMADBEATS is currently prepping his self-titled debut compilation, featuring Black Milk, Rahzel, Mic Geronimo, Roc C, Steele (of Smif –n-Wessun), and more. The duo will be promoting the release of The Transcontinental with their Smash Mouf Tour, a North American fall trek also featuring emcee/producer Oh No that will also resume for an overseas run in early 2009.
